With so much trash out there for kids, I find it especially refreshing to see something that is not only kid-friendly and mom-approved, but really emphasizes the unique qualities of every child and the unconditional love between parent and child. The books are precious and sentimental and the CD will have you and your child singing along in no time. I used these in our church nursery recently and received rave reviews from both kids and parents! The kids LOVED hearing their names in the stories and the parents were touched by the personal time that was spent with each child as they were being read to. I found that each child also loved to find the "hidden" butterfly on each page as we read the stories. The preschoolers also love the CD and were begging to hear it again and again! I highly recommend all of the Thumbuddy titles. They will be showing up in baby shower and birthday gifts around here for years to come. After all, there is no greater gift than quality time spent with your child.”

f your toddler is anything like mine, books are a large part of your day. We always read several books at night before bed, but stories are also requested randomly throughout the day. It's always fun to discover new characters and books so we were excited to get a couple Thumbuddy books to enjoy. We received I'll Always Love My Thumbuddy and the board book Thumbuddy, Thumbuddy, I Love You! The Thumbuddy series written by Mark Arens stars a sweet little thumb character who actually represents your child. The books praise and affirm your child throughout with lines like "Thumbuddy, Thumbuddy, you are huggable! Thumbuddy, Thumbuddy, truly so loveable!" (from Thumbuddy, Thumbuddy I Love You). The coolest part about the Thumbuddy series is that after you read the book once, you read it again and replace your child's name with Thumbuddy's name. The book then becomes a sweet love story from you to your little one. I think I enjoyed this more than Toddler Boy! I honestly find it to be such a nice way to tell my little guy how much I love him - sentiments that can easily get lost in a day of dirty diapers, toys throwing and tantrums.

If you have not heard of ThumbPeople then you and your child are missing out on a great learning and bonding experience. ThumbPeople, Inc. was created in an effort to help teach your children that they are created in a special and unique way - a perfect way, the way God designed. The entire ThumbPeople line of products are based on Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” I was sent 3 products to review, a board book titled, “Thumbuddy, Thumbuddy, I Love You”, the book “You Are Thumbuddy”, and a CD titled “Words of Blessing”. My daughter loved the board book, “Thumbuddy, Thumbuddy, I Love You”. She has just started saying “I love you” and took an immediate liking to this book since it focuses on her new favorite saying. This board book is about expressing a parent’s love of their child. It focuses on the importance of developing a foundation of self worth which leads to self respect. It is a very simple and fun book but teaches such important lessons. Now my son preferred the book, “You Are Thumbuddy” and is my favorite of the two as well. This book emphasis how every child is make unique and has something special to offer. What I really like about the book is that is includes Bible verses to help get the point across. One example from the book is this: It’s fun when we use our talents and skills to bless others. We can feel good about ourselves when we do out best with the gifts that God gave us. “All hard work brings a profit…” Proverbs 14:23 The CD, “Words of Blessing”, is so soothing and relaxing. It is words of encouragement and blessings spoken over soothing music. While my children did not really enjoy the CD I liked it a lot. I like to play it in the car and just spend the time thanking God for all he has done in my life. Even if you don’t plan on purchasing any products from ThumbPeople, be sure to stop by their website anyways. You can download a song as free gift that I am sure your children will love.

, We are trying the best we can to instill in our children the fact that, even in this tough day and age, they are SOMEBODY in this world to my husband and me. Despite their size, their age, their color, their circumstances, etc. they are important to us and to GOD and we will always love them exactly how they are. THEY MATTER to us, NO MATTER WHAT! I adore the books. ABSOLUTELY ADORE THEM! They are amazingly written, they hold a child's interest and have such a wonderful message. We read the books through twice, once with "Thumbuddy" as the main character and then once with "Payton" as the main character. She ATE IT UP! Since she's only three...I think that reading these books can really make an impression on the person she will become someday!
