Today my three year old son, Michael, made a surprise visit to the office.  He ran to me with his arms open and a giant smile all over his face.  Then he plunged into my arms with a long and lasting embrace that said, “I love you so much!”

Wow!  I held my boy and wanted that moment to last forever.  As I’m writing this, I have to stop and cry with tears of joy, because I am so very blessed.

I have to imagine that this is the same way that God feels when we embrace and hold him next to our hearts.   Our Father in heaven loves us so very much, that the Bible says, “God is love.”   And our God who loves us all the time, especially loves it when we love him back!
